In the aftermath of the detonation, a subspace tear forms.
The Enterprise-E flees a subspace tear. Just visible is the ships warp core,
dumped and detonated behind the ship in an attempt to to seal the tear.
Fortunately for the E-E, the detonation of the warp core did in fact seal the tear. The
unpredictability of these weapons means that even drastic measures are not always effective.
