This log recording from the bridge of the USS Enterprise shows an early
Romulan Warbird attacking with its plasma torpedo device. This incident
nearly triggered a war between the Federation and the Romulan Empire.
 

Although capable of high warp speeds and extremely powerful, the plasma torpedo has
limited range and does not manoeuvre well. Here the torpedo is beginning to dissipate.
