The Marauder first appeared in "The last Outpost", and at the time the Ferengi were supposed to be the big new baddies of Trek. It didn't turn out that way of course, and we haven't seen all that much of these ships since then so we don't know all that much about them. I've tried to make it a sort of Galaxy-equivalent, but where the Galaxy is a travelling science lab with weapons, I've made the Marauder a travelling marketplace with weapons. I figure this is in line with Ferengi philosophy.
